Banner Department is a growing independent business that collaborates with creative individuals and businesses to craft high-quality, bespoke handmade banners. Our portfolio includes a wide array of banners, from wedding keepsakes to custom designs for brands such as BrewDog and Candy Kittens.

Our primary objective is to create our customers' ideas with precision and care. Maintaining a personable and friendly approach in customer interactions is paramount.

We are currently seeking a customer service assistant to handle online customer interactions and provide support in banner production as needed. This role also involves general studio upkeep tasks.

Your duties will include:

  • Managing customer orders
  • Responding to enquiries via email and social media
  • Assisting customers throughout the ordering process
  • Liaising with the graphic designer on mock-ups 
  • Tracking enquiries and providing progress updates
  • Following up on pending enquiries via email, phone, and WhatsApp
  • Fulfilling orders, including packaging and shipping
  • Assisting the production manager as necessary

Skills and Experience Required:

While experience in online customer service is advantageous, it is not mandatory if you demonstrate a friendly demeanor and exceptional customer service skills. A positive attitude and eagerness to learn are the most valued attributes.

On-the-job training will be provided.
